Laboratory Technician

•Position: Laboratory Technician.
•Position type:Permanent;Full-time.
•Salary: RM 2000-2500.
•Location: Bandar Parkland,Taman Perindustrian Air Hitam, Klang.

This is a leading manufacturer and supplier of a full range of materials for road and pavement marking materials and other horizontal surfaces applications in the region. They develop and provide high quality marking products that contribute to increased road safety in the development and supply of high quality in pavement coating materials. Their product range consist of water/solvent based paint and thermoplastic materials and colorful and creative markings. Currently they are seeking a Laboratory Technician to be based at their manufacturing production facility site at Taman Perindustrian Air Hitam in Bandar Parkland area in Klang. 
The purpose
The main purpose of the role is to provide technical and practical support for all types of product development projects. The Technician will provide technical support for Portfolio Projects and will manage and deliver testing programs. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting equipment maintenance, training and H&S activity.
Key Responsibilities
·Conduct routine incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products testing.
·Conduct new raw materials/new formulation and quality testing.
·Conduct formulation before mass production.
·Conduct color matching.
·Prepare COA for customers.
·Lab equipment calibration.
·Prepare samples for customers or third party lab testing.
Qualification and Experience
·Malaysian Male or Female.
·Possess a Diploma qualification in Sciences or Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or any Science subject.
·Fresh graduates will be duly considered; however those who can demonstrate some experience of working within a laboratory or industrial environment ideally within asphalt/civil road or chemical manufacturing industry would be very advantageous.
·A proactive and self-motivated nature are important, as is the ability to communicate effectively.
