They are a well established and leading provider of international freight forwarding and logistics services, operating from network of international agents across Asia,Australia, Europe and America. Due to their increasing business volume, they are currently seeking to recruit suitable candidates to their freight service operations teams at Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya.

Candidates with previous experience in logistics or shipping industry will be highly desirable although those without the relevant industry but with strong passion to be associated in the industry are also welcome to apply for the job.
About the job
The job will be very mush co-ordination oriented and entails large amount of coordination activities across departments. The role will require some one confident in managing shipments from origin to destinations, including preparation of quotations and negotiation on freight rates involved. Specifically, the incumbent (job holder) will be required to attend customers' needs and inquiries for mainly sea/ocean international forwarding services, sourcing for prevailing freight rates from shipping and airlines. A large portion of the job will be to update customers on their shipments status.
Requirements: Candidate profile
This is an exciting opportunity for any one who would like to pursue her career in logistics/freight industry. In this connection, we are looking mostly female candidates to assume this active role. Candidates should be in age group 26-40, possess at least a Diploma qualification in Logistics/Shipping Management,Supply Chain or Business Studies.
Ideally candidates with 1-3 years in logistics or freight forwarding industry in similar role would be an asset to this organization. However, candidates who are enthusiastic and with keen interest in this nature of role will also be duly considered.
Due to nature of the job scope entails, we are looking for candidates with strong communication skills with excellent command of spoken and written English. Besides, she must be conversant in BM and advantageous if also conversant in Mandarin.
