Freight Forwarding Executive

•Position Title: Freight Forwarding Executive.
•Position type: Permanent; full-time.
•Salary: RM 2500-3500.
•Location: Petaling Jaya (Kelana Jaya;5-day week).

This is a leading international logistics company with offices in major ports in Malaysia. Currently they are looking to recruit Freight Forwarding Executive to join their freight operations team in Kelana Jaya. 
About the role
As Freight services administrator, you will be responsible for producing high professional customer service to all customers, overseas partners and suppliers.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
o Plan, direct and control all logistics activities on a day to day basis.
o Ensure all consignments are loaded onto computer system prior to arrival/departure either by EDI or manually.
o Maintain all files ensuring they are costed and invoiced prior to exports,delivered or released.
o Obtain relevant information from customers in order to complete Customs clearance, delivery or release of cargo.  
o Keep operational staff and customers fully informed of any holds,exams or other areas which may cause delay to a shipment.
o Responsible for ensuring that all outstanding money/payments are collected prior to release/delivery of goods.
o Provide transporters with the relevant information to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
Requirements
o Malaysian female preferred; age below 40.
o Possess tertiary qualification (Diploma/degree).
o Some exposure to sea freight activities would be ideal.
o Knowledge/understanding of Customs clearance.
o A pro-active personality with good communication skills is necessary.
