Senior Accountant

This organization,a subsidiary of a Public Listed Company is a forward looking organization specializing in business travel support services. They have been in the business of providing quality chauffeured limousine services and hire-and drive car rental for over two decades in Malaysia. Currently they are looking for an experienced accounting professional to become part of the Finance team to manage the full functions of accounting and finance of the organization at Bandar Bukit Jalil in the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. 
The job role
This role is full time permanent position within the Finance Department.
The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions within the Finance Department. Main responsibilities will be to manage full set of accounts and preparation of financial and management reporting.
Key duties:
·Production of month end management accounts including P&L,balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
·Management of accruals,prepayments,depreciation and petty cash month journals.
·Reconciliation of monthly key ledger balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
·Perform portfolio of accounting review and auditing and tax computation.
Candidate Profile and attributes
The successful applicant will need to have high technical accounting skills,be prepared to be hands on and deal with details in addition to the higher level duties required of a Finance Manager. In this connection,we are looking for a qualified Accountant with a bachelor degree in Accounting and finance. Candidates who possess a professional qualification ACCA or CIMA will also be most welcome. You will have a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience. 
To be considered for this role, candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English plus conversant in BM and Mandarin.
Candidates who are residing within 30 KM radius within the vicinity of Bukit Jalil will be considered most convenient to take up this position. These places include Kinrara Puchong, Old Klang Road, Sri Petaling, Cheras, Seri Kembangan and Kajang.
