This is a group of established companies listed in the main board of Bursa Malaysia. Their business are diversified. Currently they are seeking enthusiastic accounting qualified candidates to be based at their corporate office in Mid Valley City, KL.
The role
This is a permanent position, reporting directly to the Senior Group Finance Manager within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for finance and accounting portfolio of the company's business operations (company subsidiaries). This will include the day-to-day accounting functions and corporate reporting. The primary duties and responsibilities:
• Managing day-to-day accounting activities.
• Financial reporting: preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage full set of accounts.
• Managing AR, AP.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Balance sheet reconciliation.
The candidate
We are looking for a Malaysian, male or female, who would have a professional qualification ACCA or CIMA or those who are in final stage. Candidate with bachelor degree will be also be duly considered.
To be considered for this senior role, we are looking for Assistant Accountant who is not only strong in accounting knowledge but also some one with excellent communication skills. Strong command of English is a prerequisite and also conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
