Internal Audit Executive

Chrisjac Recruitment are currently seeking accounting qualified professionals to assume the role of Internal Audit Executive within a PLC (Public Listed Company) at Mid Valley City in Kuala Lumpur.
Responsibilities
This is a full time permanent position based at Mid Valley City in  Kuala Lumpur.
As Internal Audit Executive, among roles & responsibilities will be:
·Plan and conduct risk-based auditing by developing comprehensive, practical audit programs to appraise effectiveness of business/IT process.
·Assist in executing corporate-wide communication plans to promote good corporate governance, risk management and internal control  practices.
·Assist with administering Whistle blowing program including investigation as assigned by Head of Internal Audit .
·Assist in Audit Committee meetings presentations/paper preparation.
·Planning and carry out statutory audit and other assignments.
·Prepare the annual audit reports in compliance with Companies Act and relevant accounting standards.
·Assist in preparation of the tax computations and handle tax administration matters.
Requirements
This is a full-time permanent position and is suitable for those with bachelor degree accountancy graduate or ACCA/CIMA graduate. To be considered for this role, candidate should have one to two years' experience or without g within a public practice accounting firm with high level of audit exposure.
Candidate for this role would have knowledge of full set of accounts and able to independently finalize the accounts of MPERS compliance. In addition, he/she must have knowledge of Malaysian Income Tax.
To be successful in the role, candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This role will be purely audit and it will exposure to all aspects of auditing in corporate businesses and government agencies.
