This is a multi-national manufacturing company, a global leader in manufacturing, development,distribution and sales of paints, coatings and costing intermediate products to professional, industrial, commercial and retail customers across the world. As part of their expansion plan in their business operations in Malaysia, they are now recruiting a Supply Chain Administrator to be part of the production team in Klang.
Reporting to Supply Chain Manager, your central role will be:
•Responsible for managing 3 key areas of procurement/purchasing, logistics and production planning management.
•Manage the end to end supply of production materials from forecast to delivery.
•Manage logistics/shipments coordination activities including handling shipment documents.
•Maintain internal purchasing requests and preparing quotations and specifications for goods to be purchased.
•Provide administrative support to the purchasing team in sourcing of materials and goods.
•Determine appropriate supply based on forecasts and potential demand outlooks.
•Responsible for optimum planning,implementation of supply chain process and capacity.
•Degree in Supply Chain Management,logistics Management or Business Administration.
•Minimum 5 years in purchasing/supply/demand or supply chain experience in manufacturing environment.
•Extensive knowledge and experience in procurement and supply chain management.
•Competent in strategic and operational planning and controlling and coordinating all purchasing and supply chain activities.
•Capable of high degree of success of the ordering process,in view of the demand forecast and stock level.
•Strong PC and internet skills.
•MRP experience preferred.
•Required language: Strong English and BM; conversant in Mandarin.
