Insurance Underwriter

•Position title: Insurance Underwriter.

•Job location: George Town, Pulau Pinang.

Introduction
This is a leading general insurance and financial services company who are looking to add an additional Underwriter to join their professional team at their business operation branch in Penang state. 
Roles & Responsibilities
·Undertake to ensure adherence to underwriting policies,procedures and standards.
·Obtain confirmation of No Claim Discount(NCD) information from Insurance Services Malaysia.
·Prepare Clawback report,NCD Change report,endorsement reject and vehicle chassis validation to send to HQ.
·Prepare short payment letter.
·Verify on policy listing against Accuterm system and inform agent to append the vehicle number. 
Requirements
·Minimum SPM/UEC or Diploma qualifications.
·At least 2 years of experience in insurance underwriting.
·Proficient in MS Word, Excel.
·Proficient in English and BM (Oral & written).
