Introduction
An established freight forwarding company is seeking enthusiastic and self motivated individuals to begin their career within this exciting fast paced international logistics industry.
You will be joining this well established worldwide freight forwarding company to be based at their business operations branch office at Penang. They are looking for an enthusiastic Logistics Administrator to take full responsibility for the preparation of punctual and precise documentation for all destination across national country borders. In this regard, the successful applicants should have an exceptional telephone manner as this role requires extensive liaison with Clients, Overseas agents, Shipping liners and other departments within the business.
Duties & Responsibility
The role is hands on requires a reliable and mature person committed to ensuring smooth and efficient processing of clients shipments/cargo. The role functions as an interface between international and domestics logistics service providers and the broader business.
Responsible to handle all aspects of international logistics and shipping for clients.
Manage day-to-day operations activities of freight services with focus on excellent customer service.
Preparation of all exports/imports documentation such as Bill of Lading/Manifest and formalities ensuring the clearance from the port of loading in effected efficiently.
Monitoring of costs and approval of invoices.
Job Requirements
Applicant(s) must be Malaysian with minimum qualification in Diploma level.
The successful candidate(s) will have strong of minimum 2 years of operational experience in international freight forwarding and logistics. A strong customer service work ethic is essential together with excellent time management skills.
Good communication skills as you will be communicating with a variety of customers, suppliers, transport provider and overseas partners.
Must be proficient in BM and English, spoken and written; conversant with ability to speak Mandarin/Chinese is an advantage.
