This company is a market leading coatings manufacturer in the region. In Malaysia, their production plants are located at Industrial Area in Bandar Parkland. Currently Chrisjac is assisting the company to seek for an experienced Logistics administration support staff on a permanent basis.
About the job
This role will involve the planning, procurement of stock and all of logistical arrangements involved in dispatch/delivery the products/final goods on time.
As Logistics administrator within the company, your main duties will include assisting the Warehouse Manager with shipping procedures for both imports and exports for the organization. This role is responsible for the logistics inbound and outbound flows of materials, tooling and spare parts support and warehouse inventory. The main role will entail logistic movement of raw materials and finished goods, reporting, purchase, stock movement, fulfillment (orders) and shipping.
In carrying your duties as Logistics Executive, you will deal with MITI and Customs on documentation of Shipping procedures and deal with freight forwarders and carriers.
Other key duties include:
·Administer and manage the sales process, from handling customer quotes to preparing production-related documents.
·Coordinate logistics activities and working closely with Freight forwarders.
·Processing invoices.
The candidate
This is a good opportunity for some one wanting to progress within the logistics fields in a manufacturing industry as this role will offer the opportunity to see all of the business at operational level.
Candidate for this role must have educated up to Diploma level in Logistics and Business fields.
This is a key role within the organization, and therefore the successful for this logistics role must be a Malaysian, male or female with a strong logistic background and demonstrated experience in inventory control, international supply chain. You should have some considerable experience of working within a cross-functional role, and experience in internal sales ideally in manufacturing or logistics environment.
To be successful in undertaking the role, you must have knowledge IT (MS Office), excellent communication skills especially English plus conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin..
