About the company
Our client is a growing biotechnology company, specializing in the manufacturing of herbal-based medicine and supplemetary medicines. Their newly completed production facilities are located in Ijok, in the vicinity of Puncak Alam in Selangor. They are expanding their team and currently they are recruiting an experienced Quality professional to be an integral part of their quality department in their brand new production plant in Ijok.
This role will be pivotal in providing  exceptional leadership to create and drive a high performing and positive team culture within the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated quality professional with knowledge of ISO management systems looking to develop their career with a forward looking organization and be prepared to work hard and be trained up to be designated to become Quality Manager in time to come. 

Roles & Responsibilities
As Quality Engineer/Executive, you will be a part of the quality team in the busy manufacturing facility and participate in a range of quality duties. Your primary responsibilities will be taking a range of responsibilities from conducting internal audits to updating QC documentation. It is essential that you have the knowledge and experience in ISO with working experience in a laboratory environment.
•Manage and lead QC/QA team to complete all required tasks.
•Responsible for the maintenance of quality control and standards. 
•Responsible for operational planning and implementation on improvement plans.  
•Ensure strict regulatory compliance such as GMP,safety and health,waste management and all other applicable regulations.   
•Routine testing of starting materials and finished products.
•Analysing data and reporting results.
•Perform physical and analytical testing, compliance checks against product specifications.

The candidate
•Malaysian male or female.
•Possess Diploma or degree qualification in Chemistry or Bio-Technology or life sciences.
•Prior experience in carrying out manufacturing quality control activities ideally in pharmaceutical or medical or food industries.
•Familiar with ISO9001 and HACCP.
•A working knowledge of ISO management systems.
•Strong awareness of GMP requirements and a proponent of 'Best-Practice' quality standards.
•Proficient in English, BM and Mandarin(both spoken & written).
•Willing to be based and work at Ijok area.
