This company is a leading local supply business in home-ware in Malaysia. They are engaged in the business of distribution and marketing of well known and reputable home/tableware products in Malaysia. They engage exclusively with high end brands across the home-ware market industry. Their business operations is based at Ara Damansara in PJ. With their business operations picked up considerably in recent times, they are recruiting for an experienced accounting semi professional to assume the role of Accounting & Administration Executive to become part of a small office team to look after the daily accounting and administration works. This role will cover full spectrum of accounting functions, logistics/shipping administration and the general office administration.
Main duties & responsibilities:
•Responsible for managing full set of accounts.
•Responsible for preparation of month end journals and oversee balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
•Monthly management accounts.
•Manage monthly payroll.
•Manage the logistics/shipping functions.
•General office administration.
Preferably female in age group 26-35.
•Possess minimum a Diploma qualification in Accounting and/or Bachelor degree in Accounting.
•Previous commercial experience gained from trading business in managing accounting, payroll and freight/logistics functions.
•Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word,Excel; working knowledge of Autocount will be an advantage.
•Proficient in English, BM and Mandarin.
•Able to work in Ara Damansara area.
Hours of work
Working hours: 9.00 am-5.30 pm (Monday-Friday); 9.00 am-1.00 pm (Saturday on alternate week basis)
