Procurement Executive

•Position: Procurement Executive.
•Salary: RM 3000-4000.
•Location: Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Selangor.

Our client is a global barcode and RFID solution provider. They are part of MNC that provides RFID technology focus on data collection and label printing solutions. In Malaysia, their business operations at Shah Alam are looking to engage an experienced Procurement/Purchasing Executive on permanent basis to manage the procurement functions.
Job Responsibilities
This role will support the Operations Manager and requires a strong category knowledge and experience in procuring various productions materials and supplies.
Role and Responsibility
The position requires specific knowledge and experience in procurement and strategic sourcing process. Candidate should have general knowledge of procurement policies with ability to effectively negotiate on the terms.
Perform intermediate analytical support in the sourcing of suppliers and materials.
Manage all procurement activities, including negotiate with suppliers for the purchase of materials, supplies and equipment.
Manage the bidding process, analyze and compare vendors and suppliers and contract initiations with suppliers.
Analyse and compare vendors, suppliers and performance 
Obtain and evaluate quotation on raw materials, components.
Evaluate supplier performance by participate in Supplier Material Review Board meetings.
Conduct supplier contract negotiations to ensure compliance and optimize costs and quality.
Candidate Requirements
Malaysian in age group 26-40.
Possess a Bachelor degree in Business Administration or its equivalent.
2-3 years of overall purchasing experience in purchasing functions.
Experience in a material requirements planning (MRP) environment within manufacturing will be an advantage.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
