Our client is a leading major container shipping company in the Asian region. They are ranked as one of top15 in the global container shipping enterprises, operating not less than 95 vessels across 15 countries in intra-Asia market. They currently have a permanent full-time position as a Client Customer Service Officer within their customer service team at Klang in Selangor.
Job Scope & Responsibilities
•Taking bookings from customers/clients and sending out booking confirmation.
•Prepare and manage relevant internal and external import/export documentation (NOA/Manifest/DMDT/deposits).
•Quoting freight rates and preparing and sending out written quotations; finalizing container and shipper details before vessel departure.
•Keeping clients informed of vessel arrivals/departure updates.
•Liaising/coordinating with overseas offices on shipping schedule.
•Malaysian female preferred.
•Possess a bachelor degree in shipping management or business administration.
•A minimum of 3-5 years customer service experience within a shipping line or agency.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
•Strong language proficiency: Tri-lingual ability (English, BM and Mandarin).
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with ability to foster relationships with customers.
