Our client is a recognized leader in manufacturing of industrial chemicals and resins industry. They supply and deliver these products for mainly wood-based industries in Malaysia. Their business operations are carried out under Certified Quality Management system in accordance with ISO9001.  Currently they are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to join them at their manufacturing plant in Shah Alam.

Job Responsibilities
•Responsible for the day-to-day management of the production, engineering and warehouse operations. 
•Plan,organize,direct and control manpower and equipment capacity to maximize utilization in order to meet the production schedules.
•To reduce product cost by improving productivity,reducing rejection rate and improving operation method/processes.
•Achieve customer satisfaction through quality management and timely deliveries.
•To achieve good Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of all production lines.
•Train, develop and motivate subordinate to achieve high performance standards.
•To initiate problem-solving and trouble-shooting processes as so to reduce the production related problems and delays.
•Work closely with Marketing, Purchasing,Quality and R&D Departments to continuous improve quality & on time deliveries of finished goods.
•Continuous development and implementation of ISO9001 Quality Management system,standards, procedures and work instructions for all areas of Production, Engineering & Warehouse.
•To ensure total plant safety, 5S and comply with legal requirements.

Requirements: Qualifications and Experience
•Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical,Industrial or Material Science,Chemistry or related sciences) is required.
•Minimum 10 years of related working experience in manufacturing  environment with 3 years in similar capacity.
•Computer literate.
•Hands on experience in ISO9001 Quality Management System,process improvement and production management.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Resourceful,proactive and dynamic individual.
•Advanced planning, coordination and organizational abilities.
•Hands on approach to operations.
