Chrisjac is currently working in partnership with a medium size building construction firm to seek an experienced Contracts,senior Executive. Currently an exciting opportunity has arisen for the right individual to join this organization and provide high level professional administrative support in relation to their current and future building projects from their office based at Bandar Menjelara in KL.
The Contracts Administrator will play a key role in the success of a number of construction projects for this organization. Towards this end, we are looking for candidates who will have a strong background in high-end residential construction with proven prior experience in either a Contract Management /Administration Estimation or Project Management role.
Key responsibilities will be
•Estimate and cost propose projects and submit tenders and budgets to architects.
•Source sub-contractors, send tender packages to sub-contractors.
•Review, negotiate and finalize sub-contractors
•Carry out some on-site visits to draft out progress claims.
•Completion of monthly progress claims and submission to clients and Architects.
•Receive site instructions, revise plans, implement on site and calculate and submit variations to architects and clients.
Due to the duties involved the organization is looking candidates who have experience within the construction industry.
•Tertiary qualification in construction, civil engineering or Quantity Surveying or relevant disciplines.
•Proven background with construction company at the level of contracts administrator.
•Good working knowledge in standard forms, contract administration,construction claims and reviewing and drafting contracts.
•IT literate including MS Word, Excel application skills.
