About the job & role
The role will oversee all stages involved in taking a product to the market, undertake market research and identifying potential market success, sourcing and developing new products,monitoring sales and creating presentations for new products. The role will involve working closely with all in-house departments/colleagues and external suppliers.
Responsibilities & duties
•Support the stock management process, purchase planning and inventory orders by finding new suppliers and sourcing new product merchandise.
•Ordering of stock from suppliers by raising Purchase Orders.
•Identify new merchandise products by conducting market research,identify gaps in the market and direction of product ranges.
•Creating effective product presentations for new launches.
•Generating monthly purchasing report/inventory reports and update.
•A bachelor degree (or Diploma) in Purchasing, Advertising/Marketing or Business.
•Ability to work in a team/communicating within large groups.
•Strong negotiation skills and confident in liaising with suppliers.
•Experience purchasing from suppliers in East Asia and Fast East, especially from China and Taiwan will be a great advantage to play this role.
•Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin plus conversant in BM.
