Our client is an established international freight forwarder in Malaysia. They currently require the services of an industry experienced Freight Customer Service candidate or Freight Operations candidate to be based at their corporate head office in Kelana Jaya, PJ.
Salary: RM 3500-4500.
Candidate will be female in age group 26-40 with minimum 1-2 years in a similar role within the freight forwarding service industry.
To be considered for this role, candidate must be proficient in English besides conversant in BM and advantageous if also conversant in Chinese/Mandarin.
Essential skills required
The role
This role will encompass managing full circle of freight operations shipment from origin to destination. A big part of the role will involve providing and maintaining unprecedented service levels to a portfolio of clients/customers,overseas partners/agents and suppliers.
Essential duties are:
Plan, direct and control all activities on a day-to-day basis.
Ensure all consignments are loaded onto computer system prior to arrival/departure either by EDI or manually.
Maintain all files ensuring that all outstanding payment/monies are collected prior to export,delivery or release.
Obtain relevant information from customers in order to complete Customs clearance, deliver or release of cargo.
