Chrisjac Recruitment is working on an exciting recruitment exercise to recruit a number of key sales and customer service personnel for our client,a niche retailer of luxury lifestyle brands who own and operates several luxury retail outlets in major cities in Peninsular Malaysia and growing steadily. With several new stores set to open soon in KL, Penang and Genting, our client is looking for candidates who have strong background in the luxury retail markets to helm and manage the operations of these stores. The products on sales include up-market fashion brands leather wear, footwear (ladies & gents), accessories, handbags and time pieces.

  • Position title: Boutique Manager
  • Remuneration package: Basic salary of 2500-4000 + incentives.
  • Job location: KL centre, Design Village (Batu Kawan,Penang), Johor Baru, IOI City Mall(Putrajaya), Genting.

About the job
As the Boutique Manager, you will be responsible for the operations and management of the boutique retail store/outlet. You will be representing and working with worldwide brands in luxury leather goods and accessories in the store outlet. This is an amazing opportunity for an already established Boutique Manager to take on an exciting new challenge.
Your role will be:
o Manage the running and operations of the store outlet smoothly and efficiently consistent with its luxury outlet image.
o Manage and motivate and training of sales staff to provide higher customer service standards in order to achieve  targets and miximise sales for the boutique and ensure image consistency with the brand.
o Manage operations of the store, establish and control stocks,transfers & deliveries.
o Manage merchandising.
o Maintain overall VM display,cleanliness and appearance of the boutique sales floor is presentable at all times.
o Drive sales and customer service, promote company's products and identify ways to increase customer base.
o Product presentation to walk-in customers by providing high quality customer service

About the candidate and skills
In tandem with the star role of a Boutique Manager, we are looking for individuals who have the passion selling for luxury goods.
Candidates with the following criteria should apply:
o Malaysian, preferably female who must display immaculate personal presentation.
o Possess a Diploma qualification in any field.
o At least 3-5 years of experience from fashion retail stores with good knowledge of retail operations.
o Strong leadership quality in leading boutique staff to optimise sales and excel in customer service.      
o Excellent communication and customer service skills.
o Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia;ability to converse in Chinese/Mandarin is an added advantage.
o Computer literate with knowledge of handling POS system.
