Our client is one of the most established leading retail group on international luxury fashion and lifestyle brands in Malaysia. With over 100 labels under its portfolio, they are one of the most recognizable brands in Malaysia.
Currently they are recruiting for an experienced semi professional accountant to join their finance team based at their corporate head office at Lakefields in Sungei Besi area.
The company operates on a 5-day week basis, from 9.30am to 6.30pm, Monday-Friday.
The opening position is permanent in nature. In this regard, Chrisjac is working closely with the management of our client to search for qualified accounting semi professionals to assume the role.
Salary offered for successful candidate will be between RM 4000-5000.
About the job
This is a permanent senior executive level position where the incumbent will report to Finance Manager of the Group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing full set of accounts and full spectrum of accounting functions independently. You will focus on managing month end closing activity for the head office entity of the business.
The incumbent will be responsible on various accounting matters and prepare and review monthly and quarterly management reports.
The candidate must have exposed to the full end-to-end cycle of the Accounts payable and accounts receivable process in addition to supporting Reconciliations. You will be involved in month end closing, including accruals, prepayments and reconciliation invoices,balance sheet reconciliations.
The candidate
We are looking for individuals with at least 5 years of relevant experience to undertake the role. She should have knowledge of full set of accounts with some audit experience.
Candidates who will succeed to take up this role must possess minimum Diploma qualification or at best university degree in Accounting or professional qualification ACCA/CIMA or AIA graduate.
To be considered for this role, candidate must be proficient in English, spoken and written plus conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin.
In addition, candidates must be willing to be based at their office at Lakefields in Sungei Besi/Seri Kembangan area.
To commensurate with the role and the seniority, our client will be offering attractive remuneration package. It will be between RM 4000-5000.
