About the company
Our client is a manufacturing company whose production facilities are based at Beranang/Semenyid area. Currently they are looking to recruit a HR professional to assume the role of Assistant Manager. Candidates who aspire for this role must be some one who is enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for HR portfolio as the role will entail managing HR functions within manufacturing environment.
This is a full time permanent generalist role and will involve the management of all employee relations issues, ensuring excellent employee engagement is maintained.
As HR Assistant Manager, you will provide leadership and direction HR functions which include training & development, compensation and benefits, employee and industrial relations. The primary role will include work closely with the management to support the recruitment process including updating vacancies and coordinating interview process and processing of new starters,leavers and employment administration. You will undertake IR issues such as employee investigation, grievance resolution, performance management,disciplinary and separation process.
Other main scope of duties:
•Collate and input all relevant information relating to payroll,i.e. new starter,leavers,benefits,contract changes, absence.
•Coordinating in-house training activities.
•Responsible for the processing of all employee benefits including health benefits.
•Ensure that all HR database are updated.
•Manage all staff training training records and filing.
•Manage expatriate and foreign workers work permit and hostel upkeep.
•Monitor and manage staff daily attendance and leave records.
•Manage monthly office and building support and maintenance,cleaning and waste disposal.
•In charge of all administration matters related to government departments,especially JTK,KDN and Immigration.
Candidate profile requirements
We are looking for candidates with tertiary education qualification in HR disciplines or Business Administration and have some 5 years in HR administration.
Ideally, candidates will need to have experience in both payroll processing administration and have working experience related to HR portfolio in manufacturing industry, including employment contracts, sickness records, redundancy processes, new employee starters and leavers.
Well versed in current HR legislation in Malaysia with comprehensive knowledge of stipulations of Employment Act, relevant labour laws and current HR practices in Malaysia.
Possess outstanding communication skills, verbal and written in English and conversant in BM and advantageous if also proficient in Chinese/Mandarin.
To be successful in this role, you must be a confident HR professional, flexible and able to deal with all levels of people across the business.
