Our client is an established and respected international freight forwarder in Malaysia, providing total logistic and complete inter-modal transportation system with a vast network worldwide. Due to their ever increasing business volume, they are currently seeking to appoint capable candidate(s) to assume the role of Freight Operations Administration Executive within their busy operations team. The position will be based at their business operations head office in Kelana Jaya in PJ.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well established organization in logistics industry. Previous experience in logistics or shipping industry will be ideally suitable although those without the relevant experience will be duly considered.
This is a fast-paced role and applicant will need a high degree of accuracy and details and an ability to multi-task.

As Freight Administrator in Export department, you will be to management day-to-day operational activities.
This role is responsible for processing all export Ocean-Freight LCL,FCL and BBK movements whilst managing a portfolio of Customers with inquiries and other related freight issues This s a fast pace role and therefore applicants will need a high degree of accuracy and ability to multi task.
This unique opportunity will provide you with a great diversity of work and responsibilities such as:
Negotiating letters of credit in a timely manner.
Utilizing your strong attention to detail while checking preparing and dispatching accurate shipping documentation.
Maximizing and ensuring the timely execution of contracts and invoicing to maximize return.
Executing effective price risk management with respect to freight costs.
The successful candidate must have between 3-5 years experience in a similar role with Cargowise experience.
To be considered for this senior role, you will have a solid knowledge and understanding of ocean freight shipping process and logistics. Prior experience in the preparation of and working with shipping documentation including Letters of Credit and Bills of Lading is essential.
The incumbent will be organizationally savvy, displaying initiative, strong customer service and the ability to to effectively communicate,negotiate and influence across all stakeholders. Your attention to detail and proven track record of strong performance in a high pressure environment will be required to successful performance.
